In traditional mechanical design, when dealing with complex parts featuring cylindrical features and a series of planar holes, they are usually designed as two separate components: a turning part and a milling part, and then combined through threads or welding.
This not only increases the management cost of the BOM list, but more importantly - assembly errors are difficult to eliminate. Concentricity deviation and verticality exceeding the standard are often the root causes of equipment abnormal noise and shortened lifespan. The newly added CNC turning and milling precision parts are precisely developed to address this problem.

What is the car-milling composite process and why does it enhance equipment performance?
In simple terms, the car-milling composite processing is like having a part undergo both "rotation by the lathe" and "carving by the machining center" simultaneously. Our equipment is equipped with a main spindle with a power tool, a secondary spindle, and a B-axis rotation function.
1. Simplify complexity, eliminate assembly errors
The original part that required a cylindrical tube (machining) followed by the welding of a square plate (milling) can now be formed as a single integral blank in one step. The verticality, parallelism, and symmetry between the centerline of the cylinder and the installation surface of the square plate are all guaranteed by the geometric accuracy of the machine tool, rather than by the assembly skills of the workers. This is the cornerstone of the stable performance of high-end equipment.
2. Eliminate burrs to ensure cleanliness
For hydraulic, pneumatic or optical components, even tiny metal burrs can be fatal defects. The greatest advantage of CNC turning and milling combined processing is that it can complete all rough and finish machining in one setup before the part hardens, and then the cutting tool performs "back milling" or "scraping" to minimize the burrs at the intersection holes. Our parts, after cleaning, can be directly used in a dust-free assembly line.
Typical characteristics suitable for combined turning and milling processing

Asymmetric structure: The side of the cylinder has a milling plane, oil groove or an irregularly shaped boss.
Cross-hole: The radial hole and the axial hole intersect, and extremely high positional accuracy is required.
Thread and profile: Coexisting are large pitch threads, trapezoidal threads, and complex end face curve grooves.
The AL6000 series aviation aluminum alloy we use possesses excellent ductility and tensile strength. Under the high-speed machining of turning and milling combined operations, it can produce smooth chips, ensuring that the surface finish of the processed area reaches Ra0.8 - Ra1.6. It can be directly used without the need for subsequent grinding.
Delivery status: Finish machining completed, direct assembly
Unlike other processes, this batch of new products is delivered in a "finish machining completed" state:
Dimensions: All key dimensions have been precisely machined, with reasonable fit tolerances reserved (such as H7/g6, etc.).
Beveling: All sharp edges have been rounded or chamfered to protect the operators and the cooperating parts.
Cleaning: After undergoing high-pressure cleaning and rust prevention treatment, it can be directly put into assembly after being unpacked.
